Our hostel wifi can barely load a webpage but I still climbed two ranks this month on mobile data. If you can win a ranked match on 3G, you can survive anything. That's my whole philosophy now.

Found a co-op game and now my only real friend here is a girl two rooms down who I've barely spoken to out loud — we just play together every night. Weirdly, it's the safest I've felt all semester.

Bro I clutched a 1v3 on 1 HP last night and screamed so loud my mummy came to check if I fell off the bed. Whole squad was dead, I was shaking, and somehow the crosshair listened for once. Peak gamer moment, worst neighbour moment.

Deranked over Maggi

Grinded ranked till 4am, finally hit Diamond, then instantly deranked because my duo went afk mid-round for Maggi. Hostel wifi runs at 200 ping and still has the audacity to call itself 'high speed'. We suffer, we requeue.

my mom thinks 'ranked' is a subject i'm failing, and honestly she's not fully wrong. lost 5 games in a row, my mmr and my will to live both in freefall. 'one more game', i said at 1am, like the liar i am.

Finally hit Diamond in Valorant at 2am and immediately regretted it because standup is at 9:30. My aim peaks exactly when my career needs me to be asleep. Priorities ekdum solid.

Ranked grind till 2am and still hardstuck Gold because my teammates think 'defend' means feed. If anyone in Bengaluru wants a duo who actually holds the site, slide in, I'm begging.

Built my PC piece by piece over two years and now the Mangalore power cuts test my whole life philosophy. Ranked match, full momentum, and boom, darkness. If you also play on this coast you know the pain, guru.

Village network makes online ranked matches a horror show. I've lost more games to lag than to skill. One day I'll play from a city with real wifi and finally climb out of Silver, I swear.
