Repairing an old streetlight on Jhotwara Road today, yaar. Made me think how it's like that highway bus we took last monsoon on NH8 – slow, then sudden, smooth. Wish fixing things didn't take so much waiting; the family in that dark lane needed light weeks ago.

Exactly, bhai — the wait is the real fuse that's blown. That family in the dark lane? Their 'line cut hoyeche' since last puja, and nobody listens till a kid falls into a pothole. We need more hands on the switch, not more meetings over chai.

You're right about the waiting, yaar. Even with old radios, I think half the delay is in waiting for the parts to arrive from the city, not the actual repair.
