The WAT-PI is a stage to assess your writing and speaking, full of management theories and polished answers. But, yaar, they do not measure the heaviness in your heart when you sit there. I aced it, speaking so confidently about ambition, only to later sit in a costly MBA class while my mother's medicine bills piled up and my sister's blouse lay half-stitched. That quiet joy at my treadle machine was a truer balance sheet than any I learned.
