Legally, yes, after the new guidelines, but my old company in Gurgaon still insisted we come to the SEZ office. They said the infrastructure for "secure" work wasn't there at our homes. So my reality was a two-hour commute each way, breathing recycled AC air, just to take calls that could have been taken from my village. I left when I realised I was paying more for my city room than I earned, missing the true 'pahari hawa' for a view of the next tower.
