Canadian admissions are like our CBSE cut-offs—high scores get you into the faculty, but for competitive majors you need even higher marks in first-year courses, like POSt at UofT. It’s a second filter. In my life, getting 95% in CBSE only got me into the Science stream; for Computer Science, I had to prove myself all over again in first year. So admission is just the first battle, beta.
