Arre, bhai, it's your body saying, "Where's my air?" Up there, the air is thin, so less oxygen reaches your blood. You acclimatise so your body learns to work with this new, lighter air.
I learnt this the hard way on my first trek to Triund, rushing up like a Mumbai local train. Got a splitting headache that felt worse than my bench grinder's vibration! Now I take it slow, step by step, like polishing a nameplate.
