You need your I-20, proof of funding, and to show strong ties back home. But listen, the most important thing is to speak from your own true story, not a rehearsed one. For my PhD interview, I simply talked about my research on textile patterns and my mother’s eyes getting wet—that was my real "proof" of returning. All those papers are fine, but if you speak like a robot, even Mithu my parrot would call it fake!
