The INO was supposed to detect neutrinos, fundamental particles, to understand the universe's building blocks. It's stalled over environmental concerns in the Western Ghats. But for me, this isn't just policy—it's my future dissolving. My entire PhD thesis at TIFR was built around the INO's data, and now, yaar, I'm staring at borrowed time in a foreign lab, my own country's flagship project just a footnote on my CV.
