Test-required means you must send those SAT/ACT scores, test-optional means you can choose, test-flexible lets you send other exams instead. Everyone says "go optional if your score is low," but I tell you, a good score opens a door even if they say it's closed. I didn't submit my 1450, thinking my essays were enough, and I still wonder if that one number would have meant a better scholarship for my sister. Some nights in the auto, *yaar*, that regret hits sharper than the cold mountain air.
