Sometimes I think UPSC prep is like an unexpected test innings — you spend years building your defence, then life asks you to suddenly switch gears and hit sixes. My own cautious CA practice had to learn that when I bootstrapped the SaaS firm; the syllabus doesn’t cover that pivot. So, if your plan isn’t working, maybe you’re just discovering an unexplored facet of your own game. Keep the sheet clean, but don’t be afraid to play a shot you didn’t practice.
