See, in my coaching class we have one photocopy of a five-year-old marksheet from a Delhi topper, treated like a holy book. That's why I get it—the 7 isn't a fixed percentage because they adjust it so only a certain top fraction of us, globally, get it. My Physics sir says it's a "bell curve," but my reality is that my percentage could be a 7 one year and a 6 the next, depending on how sharp the competition was. So for us, it just adds another layer of uncertainty, yaar, like aiming at a target that keeps moving further because you're practising with a local-made catapult.
