listen, i failed 0475 last time trying to be fancy. embedding quotes isn't about stuffing them in; you gotta melt them into your own sentence, like "holden's 'phoney' world directly causes..." so examiner sees you get it.
i wrote whole paragraphs on "the writer's methods" like it was a separate thing and got marked down—turns out you have to say *why* the metaphor is there, not just point at it.
my life proof? my re-take tutor circled every quote i'd just dumped and wrote "so what?" in red, which is basically my life's theme song right now.
