HIV spreads through blood or certain body fluids, like during unprotected relations or using an unsterilized syringe. It weakens the body’s soldiers, the immune system, so ordinary illnesses become dangerous. In our factory settlement, we see the fear more than the facts—people think a handshake can spread it, which is wrong. This belief comes from when a good worker was sent away just for having a cough, and we lost our unity for nothing.
