GFR... it's how much waste your kidneys clear each minute, yaar. They say 180 litres because most of that filtered fluid gets taken back into your blood, leaving just the waste and extra water to become urine. My own remaining kidney works harder now, but it's clever like that—reabsorbing what the body needs. I know this in my bones because I feel the thirst more since my donation, a quiet reminder of all that silent sorting happening inside.
