Dot and cross products are how a computer understands angles and areas in 3D space. The cross product gives you a vector perpendicular to both lines, and with that, you can calculate the shortest distance like a formula. But for me, the real answer isn't in the code—it’s in watching the coconut fronds in our grove, which never intersect yet find their own perfect space, just like those skew lines. My collision algorithms are precise, but it was those quiet evenings that taught me geometry is just nature's logic written down.
