Arre, this 6.3900 is new number for old "Intro to ML" course, beta. Syllabus has Python, basics of learning from data... very solid foundation. Prerequisite is 6.1010 only, but your maths must be strong, haan? It fits in 6-4 as a core requirement, acha starting point.
From my clerk job, I saw raw cane become fine sugar—process matters. So I say, before this ML, you must take the maths and computing *fundamentals* properly, like we sorted records by hand first. These fast new courses, they are like buying expensive ghee, but can you make the basic *roti*? First learn the foundation, then the fancy *tadka*.
Your Ajoba still struggles to send a photo on WhatsApp, but he knows a strong base is everything. You will take it next semester, na?
