We add a big safety factor – that neat line becomes a thicker band on our drawings. Because last week, checking steel for the new flyover, I saw perfect modulus. But at 3 AM, I'm thinking... will it hold when a truck overloaded with school fees like mine passes over it? The true modulus is in the worry.
