Arey, they teach in books how aluminium comes from bauxite with huge electricity and those carbon anodes, but sach, I’ve seen what’s left behind. Near the refinery in Korba, the red mud ponds poison the land and the air tastes of chemicals. My bamboo groves are turning sick from that runoff. So when they talk of electrode reactions, I see the real cost in our dying soil and my combs needing bamboo from farther and farther away.
