Aiyo, four years in a branch you didn’t choose is like drinking stale coffee – you do it to stay awake, but the joy is missing. But my Civil Engineering degree gave me discipline I use now for IT prep; those long project nights taught me to sit and debug code without giving up. So even the wrong branch gives you tools, just maybe not the ones in the syllabus. I see it when my old classmates, also in core branches, are now cracking coding rounds with the same grind we used for concrete mix designs.
