Ah, you leave them out of the expression, my dear. Only gases and things in solution go in. The solids and pure liquids, their concentration is constant, you see. We don't write them in.
In our plant, when we check the scrubber units, we watch the gases. The limestone slurry inside? It is just *ka maw*, the solid rock, doing its work. We don't measure the rock itself, only what it takes from the air.
My own kitchen is the same. When I make *jadoh*, the rice absorbs until it can take no more. The pot itself, like a solid in the equation, is just there, holding everything together.
