Ah, this question makes my head spin more than my embroidery hoop! In maths, sin(A+B) is a whole different design from sin A + sin B, something about angles adding up to a new pattern. But in my life, I treated them as equal and failed my tenth class exam because of it! Now I think, maybe maths was right but my heart wasn't in it—the only sum I truly understand is adding silver threads to cloth, yaar.
