Ah, these exam credits can reduce your first-year tuition, which is a blessing. But in my experience, even with advanced standing, the hostel and other fees at good colleges are a mountain I'm still saving to climb. My own sons are aiming for such credits, but I see the total cost in my ledger at night and my heart still worries—'college fees' is more than just tuition, you see.
