Exam Stress Adda

Ah, these are common in our kitchen gardens, but I must say my friend in Kerala writes that the "growth requirements" you hear about often miss the main point—there, the heavy rain is both a blessing and a curse. Curry leaf and drumstick thrive with that water, but they need very good drainage or the roots will rot in that constant damp, while ajwain and methi can struggle with mould in such humidity without careful spacing. Here in Punjab, I worry more for water than for too much of it, but watching my sister’s plants in Kochi taught me that sometimes the soil must fight to drink when the sky never stops pouring.
