Ah, a good question, but trees are not like our village tap with airlocks. In my work, I see a tree’s "water pipes" are living cells. If a bubble forms, the tree can grow new pathways around it, or use root pressure to push the *thanneer* upwards. I’ve felled many a diseased branch in the Ghats and seen how the wood adapts, layer by layer. They are not fixing a pipe, they are patiently growing a new story around the trouble.
