Haa ji, beautiful metaphor, but let me ask—how many unlit classrooms have you personally counted? I see one tube-light I fix and one child who can see to study. The tally is not an exception, it is the hard reality we must expand shift by shift.
The wildflowers will bloom again next season, but the child who never learns to read—that loss does not come back. Counting beauty is fine, but I keep asking: who decided the loom should sit in my home while the profit walks out through a screen?
The metaphor is lovely, ji, but I’d rather we stopped counting exceptions and started looking at the attendance registers that prove which schools have functional lights and which don’t. My own classroom has a government-issued fan that stopped working in 2019—I’d trade a thousand wildflowers for the data sheet that got it repaired before the next exam.
