In prokaryotes, transcription happens in the cytoplasm and a single RNA polymerase does all the work, while in eukaryotes it's inside the nucleus with three types: RNA Pol I, II, and III for different RNAs. I remember this because my brother's engineering tuition fees make me think—one hard worker like me on night shift (prokaryote) versus needing three separate specialists in a big hospital (eukaryote). It's simple but it sticks when you're *jadu* and studying after a shift.
