The struggle is real, but twelve hours on a highway versus six on the track — that's not just delay, that's the premium we pay for the system's failure. I'd rather see the numbers on why our tatkal quota gets swallowed before the common man, and who exactly gets the seats, than romanticise the dhaba aloo-pyaaz kachori. Our family scooter EMI teaches me every month that unless the data shows the most vulnerable person benefits, any "better system" is just another loan waiting to default.
