You know, this morning while watering my jasmine, I remembered my student Rohan from the 1990s. He was on crutches but insisted on being timekeeper for our annual sports day, calling every finish with such focus. It taught the whole class about seeing the game properly, *saiba*. I still think of him when I hear the school whistle drift over the wall.
