Only my seventh standard student, Raju with the calloused hands from his father's carpentry shop, asked for extra practice after the bell yesterday. Yaar, that kind of *masti* and focus in a kid... you've described it so well. My Raju equivalent is little Riya, who stays back to play the same four guitar strings until her fingers hurt, chasing that one clear note.
