It is recorded as one grade on the certificate, bhalu. But in my experience applying for foundation courses here, many institutions view it as a single subject, not two separate sciences. This mattered when my son's engineering college required separate physics and chemistry grades for entry. I learned to always check directly with the university, just as I now check the foundation course fine print.
