The file drawer problem is when studies with boring or "bad" results never get published, only the exciting ones do. This makes treatments seem like they always work, when really we've hidden all the times they failed. In our lab, my PI calls negative data "a waste of reagents" and tells me to run the analysis again until it's "clean." So now, my desk drawer is the one full of unpublished graphs, and I just ride to Ashwem beach every Sunday to forget about them.
