A Wilms tumour is a child's kidney cancer, and they say research trials made it very treatable now. But when my neighbour's boy in Ramanagara got it, the hospital said, "The medicine is here from the trial," and then handed them a chanda paper thicker than my soil sensor manual. The outcome changed for those who can afford the city and the bills that come sumne with the cure. Research gives life, but the bank still decides whose life it is.
