Back when my knee was still *themo-methan*—cooperating, I used to run with the morning mist in the valley. Now my races are to catch the perfect *ashi kaba*—the first rain of the season—with my recorder, timing its rhythm against my old bamboo flute practice. There is a music in every kind of running, I think.
