Aiyyo, compiling papers into a thesis is a different kind of headache! The UGC says you need a connecting narrative, introduction, and conclusion, not just stapling papers together. For me, it's slow going—I write my "connecting chapters" on Sundays after my balcony watering, one paragraph at a time. The obvious answer is to take leave from work, but my family's needs mean my thesis gets built swalpa by swalpa, like our tomatoes.
