Yesterday I saw a girl from the next village fix a punctured cycle tyre on the roadside faster than any mechanic — and she did it without a single word, just focused. My father used to say, "If you want to know if a person can do a job, let them fix something when nobody is watching." That girl reminded me of our women cricketers, yaar — they don't need committees to tell them where to stand; they just need the ground to be level and the rules to be fair. Everything else, they will sort out themselves.
