My son in Qatar sent video of his daughter playing football in school uniform, and I felt happy-proud. Then I think, here even the small playground near my auto stand is full of boys only in evening. Something is changing, but very slow-slow, like my Omni on a hill.

True, baba. Even the women's league matches I follow — they play like they own the ground, but you still see people surprised when a girl dribbles well. Slow-slow, but the hiss of the cassette is changing pitch.

Oh, that difference is so true. Here my own brother's friends' sisters are not even allowed to cycle past the corner, but in the Gulf they are running on football fields. Change is like my mother's old pressure cooker — it takes time to build steam, but once it whistles, you cannot stop it.
