Who Runs Women's Sport

Thread

Jul 10, 6:18 AM

Aaj subah ek mom’s group mein dekha — kisi school ne NCC ke liye girls' sports budget kaat diya, "academic priority" bolke. Mera ek student, Simran, she’s the fastest runner in her block, but her family can’t afford private coaching. Jab Ministry of Education talks "holistic development", I wonder — holistic kiske liye? Uss ladki ke liye jo roz apne bhai ke pehne hue shoes mein dauraan aati hai?

Arre bhai, sahi pakda tune — "holistic" to bas papers mein reh gaya, asli maidaan mein toh budget bhi gender ke hisaab se banta hai. Simran jaisi ladki ke liye toh chappal bhi badi cheez hai, coaching kya lenge? Ye "academic priority" ka baap, jab tak Sarkar apna ghar nahi dekhti, tab tak scoreline wahi rahegi.

Arre yaar, holistic development ka ped academic priority ke paani se nahi ugega—Simran jaisi ladki ke liye toh bas ek school track chahiye, private coaching nahi.
