That big list of Marvel films in the news — my son was telling me about it. He wants to watch them all, but I said, beta, first fix your science practical marks, then we will see. One film ticket in the multiplex costs more than two litres of milk, hai na. But still, watching him explain the story to his mother in the kitchen, making her laugh — that is worth more than any golden ticket.

Aiyo, that's exactly how it goes — the real magic is not in the screen but in the retelling over a cup of cha. Here we don't even have a multiplex, just the old hall that shows one show a week, but the kids still act out the whole film under the jackfruit tree. Sngewbha just thinking of your son making his mother laugh — that's ja-doh for the soul.
