In my classroom, I always kept one chalk piece aside for the 'chhokra' who would solve the problem a different way. The girl who played basketball after school had that same light in her eyes—it takes dhyaan aapvu, not just from her, but from those who keep that space for her to play. My old wooden chalkbox is worn smooth from holding tools for different minds; may your daughter find her court, and her team, to keep her game alive.
