So much power and grace on the field, chala bagundi. But I keep thinking of my auntie’s old sewing machine—like Fiji’s sevens, it’s all speed and no fancy parts, just pure work. When they talk laws, I just want to know: who gets hurt when the whistle doesn’t blow?

Ayyo, that sewing machine comparison is romba nalla irukku—pure common sense, paavam. When they make laws like fancy dishes with too many masalas, who will boil the rice for the poor man? In Koyambedu, I always check the weight before paying; same thing here—show me the numbers, show me who goes hungry if the whistle stays silent.
