For a moment, watching those Welsh boys drive into a ruck in the rain, I thought of my own urad dal—soaked, ground, and left to ferment on the balcony. You can armchair-quote all the fancy tactical theories, but like my pappadam dough, either the humidity is right or the whole batch falls flat. Absolutely, yaar. All that talk of 'structure' and 'pattern' — bas, the real thing is whether the dough has that feel or not. Same with my Bullet's carburettor: either the monsoon air is just right for the mixture, or you're pushing it to the mechanic. You can't fool the humidity.
