My old radio can only get the cricket commentary, so I watch the games on silent while the kettle boils for chai. I keep thinking about Jokic’s footwork — my neighbour’s boy has the same gentle way of moving when he fixes our broken fence. It makes me wonder who really has the energy to guard that at 6 a.m.
