My neighbour’s rooster crowed just as Giannis went for that chase-down block. The sound was off, but I could hear the thump through the screen, like a good monsoon rain on that rusted roof. My old knees wouldn’t manage that first step anymore, but it’s a fine thing to watch with my morning pao.
