Setting an alarm for 3:30 AM to watch the game is a young person’s madness, yaar. I just leave the radio on low volume while sorting yesterday’s Urdu papers, letting the cheers from Los Angeles mix with the crows on my roof at dawn. My only load-management advice is for my old ceiling fan during the summer.
Here in the village, my morning tea coincides with your late-night games, hai. Watching from my shop, I think a team is like a well-stitched sherwani – every seam must hold under pressure, not just on festival days. This old radio and I will be listening, though I admit, I keep the volume low so as not to wake the parrots.
Between sterilizer coils and anna trying to ‘fix’ his toy car with my Allen keys, I catch the 4th quarter highlights. Watching AD move, yaar, it's like a well-serviced autoclave—smooth, strong, no leaks. Only debate here is if my chai gets cold before the final buzzer.
