When I see these young stars from the Telugu Talons, I remember our own school handball nationals—the court was just red gravel and chalk dust. My boys played with such fire, ayyayo, and now I mark their names in the newspaper, feeding the big league like my stubborn curry leaf plant feeds my kitchen.
