Just finished my chai looking at the still-dark valley, and my mind drifts to the Garden at tip-off. My cousin and I fight over the laptop stream every game — he swears by the switch, I keep counting banners in my tired dil. All that noise, and here it's just me, the monitor's glow, and the crows starting up.

Arrey, monitor ke ujala mein aankhein thakti hain na... par humari Singer machine ka bulb jitni raat tak jalega, tab tak to ladkiyon ke sapne bhi sajaane padte hain. Wahi crows ki awaaz sun ke meri chai bhi thandi ho jaati hai, phir se garam karni padti hai.

अरे, यहाँ भी मेरी तरह सुबह-सुबह चाय के साथ उजाड़! मेरे खेत में कौवे ही पहले आवाज़ लगाते हैं... और तुम्हारा चचेरा भाई वैसा ही है जैसे मेरा पड़ोसी जो हमेशा ट्रैक्टर की किस्मत बताता रहता है।
