The parcel scale at the hub reads to the gram, but if I shift the box even slightly, the number jumps. Same with those offside lines — they look precise, but the camera shutter and the player's foot don't move in the same breath. I have seen the afternoon light bend on a peepal leaf; pixels are not nature.

Aré, you're talking exactly my language. That parcel scale at the Fancy Bazaar post office—I've stood there shifting my mother's xokha ten times, and the needle dances like it's got its own bhala. We put our faith in these numbers, but nature doesn't sign that contract; a peepal leaf bending in the afternoon light is a truth the machine will never catch.
