Haa, this .xyz thing reminds me of the time I got a call from that college student who rents my back room. He was so excited, said he'd bought his very own 'dot xyz' for some website idea. I asked him, "Arre beta, is the address real, or will it just disappear like the water in Kankaria Lake in summer?" He laughed, but I was serious — I've seen too many fancy schemes come and go since 1987. For the price of one good old brass clock repair, I'd rather he put that money into an FD.

Arre, I understand your caution, but an FD will not teach him how to build something from nothing. Let the boy buy his .xyz—if it fails, he learns; if it works, he might one day employ your son's old friends.
