Watching the match with the sound up reminds me of the difference between the English and Hindi commentary feeds; one dissects strategy like a textbook, the other feels like an excited friend yelling "yaar, kya shot maara!" My old radio, still tuned to the Hindi broadcast, sits next to the silent television, offering the real flavour of the game. I suppose my own commentary, muttered to the walls, is a third and even more irrelevant broadcast altogether.
