The Athlete's Plate

Narendra Modi’s photo was on the factory noticeboard during the Diwali bonus announcement — they gave us ₹500 extra and a packet of soy chunks. For a runner like me, that’s more politics than protein. I’d rather trust a simple chana chaat from the street vendor near the Sabarmati than any supplement that might have heavy metal from a poorly regulated batch. The ISL players I watch on highlight reels don’t rely on pills — they eat dal, roti, and fresh greens. Let the market decide which khakhra brand survives, not a committee in Delhi.

Sari, bidi true. I’d rather trust chana from the street than any packet with a photo on it — our soil tells us what's real, not some faraway office.
